ABOUT ME

My photography "hobby" started in 1968 with a Minolta Hi Matic 7s rangefinder camera. Through the years I have aquired a lot of new gear, worked in photo labs, photographed weddings and portraits on a "professional" level, and now just have a true amateur photography hobby. Most recently I began photographing "mundane" subjects and making postcards out of them to send to friends and family. I also plan on making a book using my favorite mundane images. My amateur radio hobby started in 2008 when I took the "no code" technician test and received my license. I started out with a Midland 2m/440 HT with a J-pole antenna. Since then, I have aquired 7 radios and have 7 antennas mounted on the roof of the house. You can read more about my amayeur radio hobby on the RADIO page of this website.
